Accreditation and Training Services (ATS) offers various accredited training courses via online learning.
Online Course Modules
The following accredited courses are available online via Google Classroom:
- Assessor.
- Design and Develop Assessments.
- Design and Develop Learning Programmes (Material).
- Facilitator.
- Fundamentals.
- Learner Support.
- Moderator.
- Skills Development Facilitator.
Online training details:
Our online training programmes are based on a blended learning approach. It includes Support Facilitation and Assessments. Learners can study the learning material at their own time on the platform and can attend the Google Meet sessions to get assistance and support from their Support Facilitator.
Google Meet sessions conducted by the Support Facilitator will be recorded and loaded on to the Google Classroom platform after each session. If a Learner has missed a Google Meet Session the learner can watch the session at a convenient time.
Available on the platform:
- Learning material.
- Facilitation material.
- All supplementary material for POE building.
- Formative assessment material.
- Summative assessment material.
Important:
- There are no formal Classroom Sessions to be attended online by Online Learner(s).
- Google Meet sessions are conducted by the ATS Support Facilitator as arranged between the ATS Support Facilitator and Online Learner(s).
- Learning, Formative Assessment, Summative Assessment and Final Feedback are all included in the above-mentioned period.
- Only a two (2) week (14 day) extension will be granted for exceptional circumstances.
- Online Learners can study the learning material at their own time and leisure (within the prescribed and arranged time-period).
- Online Learners can complete the Formative Assessment at their own time and leisure (within the prescribed and arranged time-period).
- Online Learners can complete the Summative Assessment at their own time and leisure (within the prescribed and arranged time-period).
- Online Learners will be given Final Feedback upon successful completion of the Summative Assessment.
What you'll need:
- Fast, reliable internet connection & data (4G / 5G / LTE / Fibre).
- Laptop / computer – must be computer literate.
- Printer & scanner.
- Google account – learners will receive 5 to 10GB of cloud storage space (on Google Docs) to upload and amend their assignments.
- Microsoft Teams / Google Meet.
Training material:
- Your training material will be on Google Classroom.
- You will be able to download the material in various formats (PDF & Word).
Support via:
Unlimited support is available during office hours 08:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday. The contact details for your Support Facilitator will be allocated to you once you’ve enrolled and paid for your course.

Submissions:
You will submit your portfolio of evidence via Google Classroom. Upload your completed documents to the relevant sections (will clearly indicated on the Google Classroom).
Please watch each video that forms part of your module, ensure it is marked as done / submit before moving on.
Completion time frame:
For each module that you want to complete via online learning you will have 4 – 10 weeks to submit your final portfolio via Google Classroom. Your facilitator will confirm your submission time frame.
External Moderation is planned for intervals of 3 months (up to 6) dependent on ETDP SETA schedules, availability and endorsements.
Payment:
Your chosen online learning course must be paid in full before you will be added to the relevant Google Classroom.
Assessment:
Each of the modules are assessed separately.
Terms & conditions:
- Full payment per module to be made before Google Classroom invite will be sent.
- Assessment per module to be finalised before moving on to the next module.
- Only a two (2) week (14 day) extension will be granted for exceptional circumstances.
- If the learner does not complete the course within the given time frame the learner will be declared not yet competent.
- Digital certificate & SoR in your own private vault. Access via the internet, anytime, anywhere. No hard-copies will be printed.
